Student placement - South West Catchment

Location

For this placement, you would be based at the Werribee centre which may include intermittent work at other sites within the South West region of Melbourne. Students on placement in the South West will need to have a police check no older than three months from the date of commencement and a current Working with Children Check before commencement.

Eligibility

  • Masters student of Psychology or Counselling 

A day in the life of this position includes duty in central intake, completing comprehensive assessments, developing individual treatment plans, and making referrals, and providing brief interventions. Your assessment and treatment plans will address risk for both the client and their family and social network. You will participate in clinical reviews and clinical supervision. You will be responsible for a counselling caseload, including the development of therapeutic treatment plans and case recording.
