Student placement - Financial Counselling (FC)

Location

For this placement, you would be based at the Residential Rehabilitation in Lower Plenty.

Eligibility

• Diploma of Financial Counselling

Students must have completed or are nearing completion of their course.

As a student, you will shadow and work with the Financial Counsellor and the financial counselling team. Areas to be covered will include:

• client intake and understanding of the financial counselling process.
• assist with debt problems, or disputes with banks, utility providers and Fines Victoria.
• make referrals to other professionals where appropriate; and
• provide information about consumer rights.
